Tulsa Forecast: Tracking a few storms as heat and humidity rise through the weekend

Scattered thunderstorms are expected near and north of Tulsa today while most of Oklahoma will experience rising temperatures and increasing humidity heading into the weekend. A strengthening high-pressure ridge will drive up heat index values starting today and continuing through the weekend. Heat advisories are in effect today for parts of the state and will expand to cover most of the region by the weekend.
