The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a man was hit by a pickup Saturday evening on State Highway 28 in Pensacola.  Troopers say the man died from his injuries.

PSO is sending nearly 120 people to Pensacola as the Florida panhandle is getting hammered by Hurricane Michael.

A tropical storm strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane and could become a dangerous Category 2 storm before an expected midweek strike on the Gulf Coast in the Florida Panhandle.
