FC Tulsa hosted Birmingham on Saturday on Greenwood Night at ONEOK Field. The club is wearing special "Through The Fire" jerseys to recognize the lives and businesses lost during the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The kit is designed by Tulsa's own Trey Thaxton. The orange and black colors represent the flames and ashes left behind, and the lines on it are the names of businesses destroyed on this day over 100 years ago.

The club also marked the 104th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre with a special pre-match ceremony. Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols led a moment of silence in recognition of the anniversary. Tulsa native Majeste Pearson preformed the national anthem, complete with fireworks.

Greenwood Night was held in partnership with Black Players for Change, the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, Greenwood Rising.
