LeFlore County deputies apprehended a Pittsburg County jail escapee on Wednesday. The Pittsburg County Sheriff's Office says 38-year-old Charles Boswell escaped in a truck earlier that morning while on a jail work crew with the McAlester Housing Authority.

Deputies arrest an Arkansas couple following a high speed chase Monday morning in LeFlore County. They are identified as Christopher Aaron Denim and Ashley Johnson. 

A LeFlore County man was charged with first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon Friday.
