In Tulsa, a dog is recovering after being shot by Tyrone Cartas Burnett, who claims he acted in self-defense when the dog charged at him unprovoked. Burnett, a local businessman, initially shot at the dog twice, and after it continued to approach aggressively, he fired additional rounds, hitting the dog in the paw.
