POTEAU, OK -- A tornado touched down near the Oklahoma-Arkansas state line southeast of Poteau on Thursday.

Arkansas Highway Patrol troopers say the twister hit near State Highway 8.

Some injuries were reported, but it is unknown how many or how serious.
