Sapulpa Residents Celebrate Opening Of New Aquatic Center

SAPULPA, OK -- Hundreds of kids kicked off the unofficial start of summer with a splash.

Sapulpa is celebrating the opening of its new aquatic center on the corner of Cobb and Brown.

The new pool was a hit with swimmers at its grand opening Saturday. It was so popular it had almost reached its 400 person capacity when The News On 6 stopped by in the afternoon. 

The aquatic center includes two water slides, a special play area for little kids and free Wi-Fi.
