TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Verizon employees in Tulsa have collected $2129.78 worth of items to donate to schools during a recent Tools for School drive.
The items have been donated to Verizon's two adopted schools, Greeley Elementary and McKinley Elementary.
On Monday, a several Tulsa Verizon employees dropped off school supplies at Greeley Elementary School.
In a news release from Verizon, employees at nearly 300 Verizon locations throughout the country took part in the campaign to collect new pens and pencils, rulers, crayons, backpacks and other items children need to start the school year.
