OKLAHOMA CITY -- Tommy Mason-Griffin plans to leave the University of Oklahoma, a source told the Tulsa World.
According to the source, Mason-Griffin left the school during spring break and doesn't intend to return.
Head coach Jeff Capel denied comment when reached by the paper.
The freshman point guard showed promise during a tumultuous season for the Sooners, averaging 14.1 points per game throughout the season, second-best on the team. He also led OU in scoring 10 times, all of which came in January or later.
