Man Arrested For Shooting At Tulsa Apartment Complex

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man was critically wounded in a shooting at a Tulsa apartment complex Sunday.

Tulsa police arrested Zachery Ber for pulling the trigger at the Sandy Park Apartments in the 6300 block of West 11th Street.

According to police, Ber was dropping of his kids at his ex-girlfriend's home when a verbal altercation ensued. The woman's boyfriend then confronted Ber and was shot once in the neck, police say.

The victim was transported to a Tulsa hospital in critical but stable condition.

Tulsa Police say the Ber locked the two small children in a car before the shooting. Police say the visibly shaken kids are now safe and were taken to an air conditioned unit to cool off.
