Kevin Durant And LeBron James Square Off In Flag Football

AKRON, Ohio -- After exchanging playful barbs via Twitter earlier in the month, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant and Miami Heat forward LeBron James squared off in a flag football matchup at the University of Akron indoor football facility.

LeBron's Flag Football Classic featured the two NBA Stars and friends of each star, James' featuring friends from Ohio and Durant's team made up of friends from Texas.

Durant's team, trailing 66-63, made a last-minute, game winning drive, but a pass attempt from Durant's brother Tony was intercepted by James ending the threat. On the next play, James was on the receiving end of a touchdown pass to push the lead to 73-63.

Both stars attempted to get the game in before NBA season resumes, as the matchup was scheduled before the NBA had reached an agreement with the NBAPA to end the lockout.
