Murder Charges Filed In Tulsa Apartment Shootout

One man has died after a shootout at the Wedgewood Apartments near 61st and Peoria. Chad Michael Cook, 24, has been booked for second degree murder charges.

The shooting took place Thursday afternoon. According to the police report, Cook was arguing with a group of men in the parking lot when they started shooting at each other.

Cook was shot in the arm. Police say he shot another man, Matthew Boddy, in the head. Both men were taken to the hospital where Boddy later died.

According to his Facebook profile, Boddy is from Panama City and came to Tulsa to be with his wife and kids.

Cook is being held without bond. He is from New Britain, Connecticut, according to the Tulsa jail web site.
