OKC Police Arrest Latest In Long List Of Suspects In January Murder

Oklahoma City police announced Wednesday they'd arrested another suspect in the January murder of Donte Deshawn McCarther.

Hershell Eugene Anderson surrendered to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office Warrant Team through his attorney. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.

Police say Anderson was involved in the January 17 shooting death of McCarther. McCarther's body was found in the breezeway of an apartment complex in the 1400 block of N. Council Road.

Police say McCarther was killed during a drug deal, and there are numerous suspects in the case. At least five other suspects have been arrested.
