An online liberal faith group wants Hobby Lobby to drop its lawsuit challenging a new federal mandate requiring coverage of the "morning-after pill."

Faithful America tried to deliver more than 80,000 signatures to the Oklahoma City-based company today.

The petition urges Hobby Lobby not to use its Christian beliefs to deny women access to birth control.

Hobby Lobby, however, said it does not object to preventive contraceptives, only to required coverage of the "morning-after pill."

Oklahoma City pastor Lance Schmitz said he was asked to leave the property, but promises to mail the petitions instead.

Petitioners vowed not to shop at Hobby Lobby until the lawsuit is dropped.

Hobby Lobby said the mandate forces business owners to choose between following their law or violating their faith.
