A Tulsa County judge sentenced Fred Shields to two life terms for his part in the murder of businessman Neal Sweeney.
Shields was found guilty of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder on September 21st.
On the murder conviction, the judge sentenced Shields to life without parole and on the conspiracy to commit murder, life with parole. Those sentences are to be served consecutively.
Tulsa Police say Shields was the go-between for Mohammed Aziz -- who pleaded guilty to masterminding the murder -- and the triggerman, Terrico Bethel.
Bethel was convicted in August of first degree murder and also sentenced to life in prison without parole.
