Teen Stabbed, Killed After Seminole Football Game

A teenager was stabbed and killed during a fight with another teen just after a football game in Seminole, Friday night.

The fight happened a few blocks away from the football stadium at the intersection of Mike Snyder and Jefferson Streets just before 9:30 p.m.

Police say the altercation involved a 15 and 16-year-old boy. While they were fighting, the 15 year old stabbed the 16 year old in the chest. OSBI has identified the victim as Nick Tilley.

Tilley was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.

According to Lt. Bowen of the Seminole Police department, the incident is still under investigation and a motive has not been established yet.  

The suspect is in custody. His name will not be released due to his age unless the district attorney decides to charge him as an adult.
