Tulsa homicide detectives on Friday told News On 6 they have located a person of interest and conducted an interview in connection with this week's quadruple homicide.

Police are not releasing the person's name or revealing what, if anything, the person told them. A source said investigators are following up on information and are continuing to look for others who might be involved.

On Monday about 12:30 p.m., four women were found murdered at the Fairmont Terrace Apartments, located on 60th Street and South Peoria Avenue in a crime-ridden stretch of South Tulsa.

A toddler was found unharmed in the apartment, with the bodies of Rebeika Powell, 23; Kayetie Powell-Melchor, 23; Misty Nunley, 33; and Julie Jackson, 55, tied up and shot to death.

Detectives have interviewed dozens of people about the case.

Earlier this week, police tracked a man to Kansas and questioned him about the murders. Authorities were quick to say Joseph Tillmon, 33, is not a suspect, but believed he knew one of the victims and may have had information that could aid the investigation.

Police said they have since ruled out Tillmon as a person of interest.

Investigators are looking at many possible motives for the murders, including drugs and a jealous lover.

The funerals of twin sisters Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Powell-Melchor will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. at God's Shining Light Church, near 11th Street and Mingo Road.

Jackson's service is scheduled for Monday at 11 a.m. at Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.

Services for Nunley are still pending.

In the first eight days of 2013, there were eight homicides in Tulsa. All eight, including the quadruple homicide, occurred during a five-day period and took place in various places across the city -- the north, south and east side.

There were 44 murders in Tulsa in 2012.
