As we settle in to our new Griffin Communications Media Center, we're surrounded by the city's earliest history in the Brady Arts District.

Immediately to the east of Brady, is another historic Tulsa neighborhood: the Greenwood District.

It's a place with a rich past of entrepreneurship and strong family bonds.

And tragically, it's a place that saw America's worst race riot, back in 1921.
