Woman Killed Driving Wrong Way On Highway 412

A woman was killed in head-on collision, after driving the wrong way on Highway 412, Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday, when the driver pulled onto 412 from Adams Road, in Sand Springs, going east in the westbound lane.

Troopers said she hit a BMW head-on, and a Jeep, attempting to avoid the BMW, also hit the car going in the wrong direction.

EMSA transported one other person involved in the wreck. There's no word, at this time, of that person's condition.

Troopers are still investigating, so they're not releasing the names of anyone involved.
