Tulsa Teen Pleads Not Guilty To Beating His Mother To Death

A Tulsa teenager accused of beating his mother to death pleaded not guilty to the crime Friday.

Hank Laird, 17, is charged with first degree murder for the January 22 death of his mother, Linda.

Laird's friend, Josiah Sklar, also faces a complaint of first degree murder.

Police say Sklar witnessed the attack.

Laird's preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 14.
