Three members of the Oklahoma City Thunder's Thunder Girl dance team have made another elite dance squad that will perform at the Super Bowl.
The girls auditioned three weeks ago in Dallas for one of only 10 spots in a group that's known as "The Sideline Dolls."
The group will perform during the Super Bowl and the NBA's All-Star Game. They will also make several charity appearances around the country during the next month.
Hayle Johnson is one of the Oklahoma City Thunder Girls who made "The Sideline Dolls."
"She's had ten hours of sleep in five days," Hayle's mother Christy Johnson said.
Christy operates DMC Dance in Midwest City. Her daughter Hayle has been dancing there since she was two.
"She has always stood out, not just because she's my daughter. At the age of seven she didn't want to do anything else," Christy said.
"She's tired and hungry, and having a great time. Well, they have food. Yeah, they just don't have a lot of time. This is what being a dancer is all about," said Lynse Iwersen, Hayle's sister. "I think the Thunder should be so proud to have all these Oklahoma girls representing our great state."
Her mother Christy is proud.
"She's doing great, and she looks great, and she looks like she's having fun," she said.
Hayle also works for Anthony David Hair Salons.
