Tuesday marks a sad occasion for the family of Dena Dean. She was a 16-year-old honor student at Webster High when she was murdered.

February 26 is Dena's birthday. She would've turned 31, and her family is still looking for justice.

It was June of 1998, when Dena asked her mom if she could go meet a boy.

Dena's body was found five days later, just north of the Town West shopping center in west Tulsa. Her killer remains on the loose.

"It will never get easier. It gets harder every year it goes by and nothing comes up. We're not young, we're not young and we want to live to see justice served," said Dena's mother, Diana Dean.

Dena's parents, along with investigators, strongly believe people know what happened that night, and urge anyone with information to call the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office at 918-596-5601.
