Murder Suspect Caught While Walking Down OKC Street

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday it had captured a suspect in a fatal stabbing after deputies saw the man walking down an Oklahoma City street.

Investigators say Casey Wright, 19, and Armando Daniel Hernandez, 17, argued Saturday, April 20, at an apartment complex on S. Agnew near S.W. 55th Street. During the fight, Wright was stabbed. He was rushed to OU Medical Center, where he died. Hernandez left the scene.

Deputies were patrolling Thursday in the 3900 block of S.W. 25th Street when they saw Hernandez walking in the area. Deputies arrested him without incident and booked him into the Oklahoma County jail.
