Police say two Jenks women are under arrest Thursday afternoon, while an 18-month-old boy is in intensive care, after possibly ingesting pain medication.
Police were called to 51-year-old Ginger Boggs' apartment after learning the toddler was lethargic and in need of care.
While there, police also found 48-year-old Ray Allen Lykins dead on the couch. The police say no one in the apartment realized the man was dead. They only knew he had taken pain medication the night before and was acting weird.
A neighbor told News On 6 he saw the toddler the night before, in the care of his grandmother, Boggs, who was babysitting him. The neighbor said Kyzen was blotchy, pale and his eyes were flickering. The neighbor says he told Boggs to take the baby to the hospital and she said, "I called the doctor. We think he got into Allen's pills and took a Lortab."
The little boy was taken to the hospital Wednesday and remains in an intensive care unit.
Records show another woman who lived in the home, Amy Latimer, 39, was also arrested.
Both women were booked into jail on complaints of child neglect and are each being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
