News On 6 Viewers Raise More Than $15,000 For Food For Kids

News On 6 viewers helped us raise a lot of money for the Food For Kids backpack program.

Terry Hood was proud to deliver a check for $15,439 to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma Tuesday.

We want to say thank you to the thousands of viewers and readers, who texted in donations during the Tulsa State Fair or made a contribution at our News On 6 booth.

That money will make sure 96 children will be able to bring home backpacks full of food every weekend for a year.
