Man Found Shot to Death Near OK Capitol

A man was found shot to death inside a pickup truck at an apartment complex near the State Capitol.

Officers were called out to the Liberty Station Apartments around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.

The man was slumped over in the truck, with his seatbelt on. News 9 talked with a witness who noticed the driver's window had a bullet hole in it.

"I just saw the truck right here started, and I saw a man kind of slumped over in there, but I didn't really like think anything of it. I went upstairs, and then I looked down, and saw that like the window was shattered, and then that's when the police came," said witness Karmin Carter.

Police say they have not made an arrest at this time, but plan on releasing new information on Monday.
