Sapulpa Glass Plant To Lay Off 51 Workers

The Verallia glass plant in Sapulpa is shutting down a second furnace, and laying off 51 workers next week.

The glass plant says there just isn't a big enough demand for beer bottles.

It hopes to reactivate that furnace in January.

Right now, the plant is running just one of its three furnaces. It shut another two months ago.
