Two Tulsa Convenience Stores Robbed Overnight

Tulsa Police are looking for two men they believe robbed two convenience stores late Monday and early Tuesday.

The first robbery occurred at the Diamond Shamrock gas station near 21st and Garnett just after 11:30 p.m. Police said two men entered the store and asked to warm up when one of the men pulled a handgun and demanded the clerk give him cash.

After getting the money, both men ran out of the store. Officers say the clerk was not injured.

At about 2 a.m. two men entered the Kum & Go at 41st and Peoria.

After bringing several items to the counter, one man pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register. After getting the cash, both men ran out of the store. The clerk told police the men got into a maroon-colored Ford Explorer and headed north on Peoria.

That clerk wasn't injured, either.

Tulsa Police say they don't have detailed descriptions of the men. They say both men are black, one is between 20 to 25 years of age, 5'6", 140 pounds and wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
