OHP: SUV Hits, Kills Horse On Highway 75 In Washington County

The northbound lanes of Highway 75 in Washington County were closed for a short time after an SUV struck a horse early Wednesday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The northbound lanes of Highway 75 in Washington County were closed for a short time after an SUV struck a horse early Wednesday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The OHP said the crash occurred about three miles south of Ramona at about 5:30 a.m. 

Troopers said the horse was killed.

No word on if the driver was injured in the crash which backed up traffic for several miles.
