A trip to the most magical place on earth just became a bit shorter for Oklahomans. For the first time, passengers can fly non-stop from Oklahoma City to Orlando, Florida – home of Walt Disney World.
Allegiant Air on Thursday began non-stop jet service between Will Rogers World Airport and Orlando Sanford International Airport. Allegiant is currently the only airline flying non-stop between the two cities.
"Allegiant's new service provides our traveling public a great, affordable option to one of our most popular destinations," airport director Mark Kranenburg said. "We believe this newest air service addition to the Oklahoma City market will be very successful."
Allegiant offers the non-stop flights twice a week on Thursday and Sunday.
