OSBI Investigating Murder Of Stilwell Man

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to investigate an Adair County murder, according to the OSBI.

The Adair County Sheriff's Office discovered the body of Rickey Lee Harlin, 53, outside his Stilwell-area home on December 27, 2013. Harlin had been shot to death, a news release states.

Deputies at the scene arrested 38-year-old Rodney Wilson for first degree murder.

"While the investigation into the murder continues, it appears Wilson went to Harlin's home where a confrontation ensued," the OSBI release states.

A search of Oklahoma Department of Corrections records show that Wilson received a two-year deferred sentence for possession of a controlled substance in 2004.
