Tribal officials say there will be an up-or-down vote on the fate of Osage Nation Chief John Red Eagle Tuesday morning.

Red Eagle is accused of violating the tribe's constitution and interfering with a criminal investigation involving his own granddaughter.

The chief has been adamant that he's done nothing wrong.

The 12 members of the Osage Nation Congress vote starting at 9 a.m.  Officials say it will take three votes in Red Eagle's favor to keep him in office.
