Oklahoma Transportation Commission Approves Bid For New Grand River Bridge

The Oklahoma Transportation Commission approved a $17 million contract to replace a bridge across the Grand River Monday.

The commission decided to award the contract for the new Highway 51 bridge during its regular monthly meeting in Oklahoma City.

The existing bridge is located between Wagoner and Cherokee counties in northeast Oklahoma and opened in 1949.
