Tulsa police are investigating after young girls selling Kool-Aid in Midtown reported that a man drove up and propositioned them. The girls immediately told adults, who called police and a neighbor caught the man's car on camera.

The kids were set up in a driveway near 36th and Louisville on Tuesday about 4:20, a neighborhood spokesperson said.

Even though they weren't hurt, they still said they will never sell Kool-Aid in the drive-way, again.

The girls had three customers Tuesday afternoon before a man in a champagne or gold Nissan Maxima pulled up, bought a cup, asked them if they wanted to make real money by modeling and offered to take pictures of them.

"After that, he said, ‘do you want to get in the car and I'll take you to my studio.' We thought he was kidding at first because he kinda laughed, then he had a serious look on his face. We kept backing up," the girls said.

They said he opened his door briefly and kept staring at their address and at the front door to see if anyone was going to come outside.

"He held out the cup so we could take it back and she reached her arm out. I thought he was going to grab me or something," they said.

When they said they wouldn't get in his car, he asked them why. They told him they wouldn't go with a stranger and he replied, "I'm not a stranger, I just bought Kool-Aid."

"We were really scared. I was really scared. We started crying when we went inside," they said.

After the girls told their family, police came out and got a neighbor's surveillance video of the car and a detailed description from the girls. They said they thought he was in his 40's.

"He had a beard to his chest and grey hair like curly fries, moles on his cheeks, was wearing a white t-shirt and a brown baseball cap and he had two pair of leather gloves on his passenger seat," the girls described.

They hope he gets caught so he doesn't end up doing something bad to another child.

"I don't want that to happen to anyone else. It's a real bad feeling. It's not a fun feeling," the girls said. "No, it's really scary."

Police ask you to call if you recognize the car.

It's also advised that you talk to your kids about these situations. The best answer for them to give is no, or to tell the person they have to ask parents, or grandparents, first.
