Rain chances stay high today and continue with us into tomorrow.
This morning, moderate to heavy rain will stay confined to south-central and southeastern Oklahoma. A few thunderstorms will also be possible where the rain is heaviest, but severe weather isn't expected.
Rain chances increase this afternoon through central Oklahoma. Totals could range anywhere from .25" to .75". Highest totals will fall in southern and eastern Oklahoma. Rain chances aren't high for western Oklahoma, but you also won't be out completely.
More rain on the way for Monday, but chances will be less as another weak system moves in quickly after the one today. Rain chances end Monday night. Warm temps and fire danger return on Wednesday and Thursday. Another system may bring severe storms next Sunday. Still a ways to go before we get a good lock on it.
And believe it or not, temps may hover around freezing a week from tomorrow morning. Early data indicates some colder weather. No guarantees of a mid-April freeze, but we're watching it!
