Francis Dishmon is charged with attempting to rob the Miami IBC Bank in August of 2013. Authorities said the 51 year old walked into the bank and used a note to demand money.
Police say Dishmon then sped off, without a penny, going as fast as 100 miles an hour through Quapaw. The chase ended when the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said he lost control and flipped his car. This caused a semi driver to lose control and crash into a ditch. He died from the crash.
If convicted, Dishmon faces life in prison and a $250,000 fine.
