Power Outage Hits Parts Of Downtown Tulsa

Shortly after 6 a.m. electric service to a number of businesses in the Brady District and the OSU campus was knocked out.

A power outage struck portions of downtown Tulsa Wednesday morning.

Electric service to a number of businesses in the Brady District and the OSU campus was knocked out at about 6 a.m.

Public Service Company of Oklahoma says about 1,000 customers in downtown Tulsa were affected by the outage. The utility says a switch at a downtown substation turned off.

PSO crews were able to correct the problem and restore service just after 6:30 a.m.
