In Sperry, several tree limbs were knocked down onto roads.

In Owasso, winds knocked down a privacy fence.

A homeowner in Collinsville said the winds picked up his granddaughters swing set and moved it about 30 feet. The wind also ripped off shingles from his roof.

Mike Daniels told us he called 911, because he thought it was a tornado.

"The wind was tremendous, I knew I was losing my roof, I just didn't know how much," Daniels said.

AEP reported several customers lost power Thursday morning due to tree limbs blowing into lines. And in one case, a baseball backstop was picked up and hit a power pole.

AEP said its already replaced that pole.

Owasso Police report a power outage impacted traffic signals at 116th Street North and Highway 169.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says winds reaching 55 m.p.h. moved across the area knocking down tree limbs in Sperry and wooden fences in Owasso.

Crone says the winds are ahead of a cold front moving into Oklahoma Thursday morning. He says the front is moving to the southeast and will produce scattered showers and storms as it moves into western Arkansas.
