Two Oklahoma death row prisoners will be executed Tuesday in the state's first double execution in nearly 80 years.
Clayton Lockett will be executed at 6 p.m. with Charles Warner's execution set for 8 p.m. This will also be the first time a new lethal injection drug will be used.
The first drug on the state three-drug cocktail will come from a new source, after the former supplier stopped selling to prisons.
The first drug is a sedative. The other two drugs stop breathing and then stop the heart. Attorneys for the inmates argued there is no evidence to support the drugs are safe, or to prove they were acquired legally.

The Supreme Court ordered stays of execution, but Governor Mary Fallin stepped in saying the court did not have jurisdiction. Then, in an unprecedented move, the Supreme Court reversed its original ruling.
That ruling stands Tuesday, execution day.
Clayton Lockett shot an 18-year-old, then ordered an accomplice to bury the teenager alive. Charles Warner raped and murdered his roommate's 11-month-old daughter in August, 1997.
The attorney general says Warner has never shown remorse.
