The Sallisaw Police Department are asking for help to locate two brothers connected to a home burglary. They said officers responded to a call on June 16th where a home ad about $20,000 in jewelry and other property stolen.
Officers said they believe the burglars entered through one of the back doors of the home. Neighbors told investigators they saw a light-colored four-door vehicle at the home on the day of the burglary.
Police said the suspects, Naaman J. McCoy, also known as Stix, and his brother Jimmy Don McCoy, JD, were also identified in the larceny of over $1,000 in flat screen TVs from the Sallisaw Walmart. Surveillance video shows the brothers in a light-colored Chrysler 300.
Witness identified the McCoys as two involved in the burglary and investigators have a written confession from the driver in the burglary that said the brothers, and another suspect in custody.
Officers said they were able to track the two to the Garden Walk Apartments in Tahlequah, but were unable to make contact. Police said the McCoys were last seen driving a light silver Chrysler 300 with a paper tag. They said they may also be in a black car with the passenger side back window broken out.
