One month after Folks Urban Market closed downtown, a new tenant has moved into the building near 3rd and Archer.
The new tenant is a welcome addition to the neighborhood that lost its only market when Folks closed its doors.

Z's Taco Shop opened their doors at 5:00 Tuesday night. The taco shop and market has a little bit of everything; from toothpaste to, of course, tacos. They've even got some friendly hours.
Z's owner, Zareth Gonzales, and her boyfriend, Alberto Miranda, signed the lease the day after Folk's closed its doors.
“That was on a Wednesday, and I signed the lease on Thursday at 8 a.m.,” Miranda said. “I'll be sleeping and breathing Z's Market and everyone else should as well.”
A lot of the building looks the same, inside and out.
Miranda knows how much a market is needed downtown, that's why there's even a section to shop.
Folk's had regular customers, like Jill Roberson, who recently relocated to the area.
"It just cripples all of us that have bought places and are buying downtown,” she said.
The concept for Z's is to have a little bit of everything. You'll find Topeca Coffee, toothpaste, Advil and sriracha; but if tacos are what you're looking for, they're focusing on street-style food, with authentic recipes from family members.
“Tacos will go over. Everybody loves tacos,” Roberson said.
Friday and Saturday nights, Z's will stay open until 3 a.m., for late night snackers, and if you're a morning person you're in luck as well, Monday through Thursday Z's will open at 7 a.m. and serve breakfast.
