Jack-Knifed Semi Closes Portion of Tulsa's Downtown IDL

A jack-knifed semi on Tulsa's downtown Inter Dispersal Loop closed the highway for over an hour early Thursday according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the driver of the semi was west on the south leg of the IDL at Detroit when he lost control of his rig because of speed and the wet highway and jack-knifed. 

The OHP said the driver then attempted to make U-turn but became stuck closing the westbound lanes from 2:05 a.m. until 3:37 a.m. 

The driver was not injured.
