Police say a man in his 40s suffered a head injury when he was hit as he crossed a Tulsa street Monday evening.
Officers said they were sent to the 2500 block of East Admiral Place just after 6 p.m. They said the man ran across the street in front of a car and was struck.
Tulsa Police Corporal Ross Williams said there was a crosswalk near where the victim was hit but he was not in the crosswalk.
They believe the man is in critical condition.
Police questioned and released the driver. The investigation continues.
