Police Make Arrest In 2009 Tulsa Homicide

U.S. marshals in California arrested a man wanted in a 2009 Tulsa murder.

The marshals arrested Pedro Gaeta, 23, in San Diego, California. He was booked into the Tulsa County jail Thursday morning on a first-degree murder complaint. 

He had been on the run since November 2009 when since the shooting death of Alvaro Deleon in the 1000 block of North Troost.

Police said witnesses saw Gaeta walk up to Deleon after a dispute in front of the home, point a gun at the Deleon's head and pull the trigger.

Jail records show Gaeta is being held without bond with a court appearance set for February 26, 2015.
