Tulsa Man Says Girlfriend Accidentally Shot Him

A man told Tulsa Police his girlfriend accidentally shot him in the leg. 

Officers said the shooting happened at about 12:40 a.m. at a home near Jasper and Peoria. 

Tulsa Police said the man told them the girlfriend was holding a handgun when it went off and the bullet him in the leg. Police said the girlfriend told them the same story.

EMSA took the man to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury. 

Officers did not arrest the girlfriend.
