Motorcycle Collides With Utility Pole In Midtown, One Dead

One person is dead after a motorcycle-involved collision in midtown.

Emergency crews responded to 15th and South Peoria Monday Night for an accident involving a motorcycle.

Officials said the motorcycle was heading north on South Peoria and collided with a utility pole.

Police said the male driver in his 20s was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The name of the driver has not been released.
