Tulsa Man Arrested In Standoff Charged With 5-Year-Old Son's Murder

A Tulsa father has been charged with the murder of his son. Bryon Keith Creech was arrested March 20, 2015, after an overnight standoff at his estranged wife's apartment.

Police say Creech broke into his wife's apartment at Riverchase with his son Braydon. He fired at least a dozen shots at officers before walking out of the apartment.

When he finally gave himself up after 17 hours, officers found the body of his 5-year-old son shot to death. They believe Braydon was killed at the beginning of the standoff.

On Tuesday, Creech was charged with first degree murder, kidnapping, shooting with intent to kill, child abuse by injury, child neglect, second degree burglary and violation of a protective order.
