Deputies said his body turned up on a county road on February 15, 2015. Tulsa homicide detectives had been looking for Childress in connection to a double murder in Tulsa on November 26, 2014.

In that crime, Amanda Douglas and Jennifer Sudar were murdered in the 4400 block of South Garnett in an apartment complex parking lot. Detectives said Childress knew one of the women and was captured on surveillance video the night before the murders with the man who has since been arrested for killing the women.

Tulsa Police arrested James Marshall near downtown Tulsa on April 7, 2015. He's being held in the Sedgwick County Jail in Kansas on a $250,000 bond.

Police arrested Quantell Alverson in January in connection to the Tulsa double murder and he's charged with two counts of 1st-degree murder.
