2 Men Missing On Lake Eufaula; OHP Suspends Search Until Morning

Two men are missing on Lake Eufaula after canoeing over the weekend.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol used aircraft to search the area on Sunday night, but had to halt the operation because of darkness.

James Giles, 23, and Sean McDonald, 41, were last seen between 11 p.m. and midnight on Saturday as they left the Holiday Cove area in a canoe, OHP says. Park rangers were notified of their disappearance at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

It is unknown if either man was wearing a floatation device.

OHP says it will resume its search on Monday at daybreak.
