Water is six feet deep in one Sapulpa neighborhood where it's seeping into homes.
Many families were evacuated and one had to be rescued.
The Sapulpa Fire Department used a boat to bring them to safety. Pulled out of a boat, one by one, a man and his dog, followed by a woman and another dog. All made it to dry land safely.
"We didn't think it was going to get this bad. We just thought it was going to rain a little bit, go away, and it didn't," said Amber Ashton.
Rain fell as Sapulpa firefighters rescued Amber Ashton from her flooded home. One of a hundred flooded homes in her neighborhood. Not to mention cars completely underwater.
Firefighters evacuated the area Saturday night into Sunday morning asking people to recognize the danger.
"Protect their family, I mean, that's the important thing. If they don't protect their family, that means we have to put our family at risk to come and get theirs," said Kyle Zickefoose, Sapulpa Fire Battalion Chief.
Bill Cartee's family is taking the risk. They are waiting for the water to rise a little more before leaving.
"I don't know. That's a long way to go yet, so we'll see. Plus the house is up on foundation so there's a long way to go," said Bill Cartee.
Others spent the day packing up, preparing for more rain.
Amber Ashton thanked firefighters and is now looking for a warm place to stay until the flood water recede.
